Always request real photos

If the listing only has brand photos, ask for current shots on a plain background — front, back, close-up on labels and any wear.

Ask for exact measurements

Size labels lie. Ask for bust, shoulders, length, waist. For shoes, ask if they run true. A good seller will always provide this.

Ask why they're selling

'Doesn't fit' or 'bought two' are great signs. Vague or defensive answers about why they're selling can be a warning.

Request authenticity proof (Luxury)

For any item over 500K LL: original receipt, serial number photos, dustbag, box, and close-ups of hardware, stitching, and tags.

Meet in a safe public place

For Beirut meetups, suggest ABC, Le Mall, or a busy café. Inspect the item fully — zippers, buttons, lining, labels — before paying.

Know your red flags
