Shoppy works because members treat each other with honesty and respect. A few simple rules keep it that way.
Be honest
Describe items accurately — true condition, real photos you took yourself, and fair prices. Misrepresenting items breaks trust and isn't allowed.
Clothing only, and authentic
List fashion items only. No counterfeits or replicas, no stolen goods, and nothing illegal. Selling fakes leads to removal.
Be respectful
Keep chat friendly and on-topic. No harassment, hate speech, or unwanted contact. Treat every member the way you'd want to be treated.
No spam or scams
Don't post duplicate or misleading listings, and never ask anyone to pay outside a normal, agreed arrangement or send money before meeting.
Report and block
If something feels wrong, use Report on the listing, profile, or message, and block users you don't want to hear from. Our team reviews reports and acts on them.
