Meet in a public place
Arrange to meet somewhere busy and well-lit — a café, mall, or metro-side spot. Bring a friend if you can, especially for higher-value items.
Inspect before you pay
Check the item in person against the listing photos and description before handing over any money. If it's not as described, you're free to walk away.
Pay safely
Prefer cash on collection or a method you both trust at the moment of exchange. Never send money in advance to someone you haven't met, and be wary of anyone pressuring you to pay upfront.
Use reputation
