Information we collect

Account details you provide — your name, and an email address or phone number used to sign in and verify your account.

Content you create — listings, photos, your city, and messages you send to other members.

Usage data — basic technical information (device, approximate activity) needed to keep the service secure and working.

How we use it

To operate the marketplace: show your listings, enable chat, verify your account, prevent fraud and abuse, and provide support.

To send essential emails about your account: sign-in and verification codes, and notifications about your listings, saved items, and messages. Notification emails can be switched off at any time from your profile settings; verification codes cannot, because they are needed to sign in. Every email we send comes from an @shop.ops-tower.com address. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Other members see your public profile, listings, ratings, and the messages you send them. We share data with service providers (for example hosting and messaging) only as needed to run Shoppy, and when required by law.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, manage blocked users, and delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your listings and personal profile data.

You can turn email notifications on or off from your profile settings. Bounced or complained-about email addresses are automatically suppressed, and we never email them again.
